The Digital Dozen does Neon - Day 2: Tropical

Hold onto your butts, it's day 2 of Digital Dozen does Neon week! ;) :P

I hope you all made it through Monday with minimal heartache (though personally, I dislike Tuesdays almost as much as Mondays!).

For today's look, I decided to go tropical and do a dark backdropped neon look. I love how the colors pop! I think one of my favorite type of looks is a dark background with bright floral over it.


For this look, I used OPI's Keeping Suzi at Bay for the base (one of my favorite deep blues) and then used a few Salon Perfect Neon polishes for the rest.


I used Gone Sailing for the palm leaves in the background and then added a few flower shapes in Oh Snap!. Then, I added a few spots of Copacabana Girl over Oh Snap! and then added the leaves in Loopy Lime. To add a little bit more dimension and interest, I added some white acrylic paint dots.


I think I'm ready for my vacation now ;)
