Sugarloom Cosmetics - Swatches, Review & Nail Art

Press Sample

Hello, all! I have a new to me brand to share with you all today! SUGARLOOM is a Big 5-Free, all Vegan luxury nail polish made in the USA. It comes in a large square bottle that holds 0.51 Fl Oz/15 mL so you get a huge bang for your buck (especially considering how a lot of high-end brands will often be 30oz or less and are not necessarily Vegan or Big 5-Free)!

I have a mix of finishes to share with you today, so let's dig in! The polish names have clickable links if you see one you like.
Vegan Sacrifice is a dark purple metallic shimmer named in honor the brand's 5-Free & vegan formula. This is a great purple and has a nice formula. The first coat was a bit sheer, but coat two made everything opaque. I've shown it with 3 because I felt like the shade got richer with more coats.

Moonsand is a blue tinted silver metallic shade that is aptly named. I can completely see this color in the moon each night and I love it! The formula was incredibly easy to work with and shown is 3 easy coats (without top coat).

Creep is a deep avocado rind green that dries to a textured finish. This is one of those polishes that you'll probably love or hate as it's pretty unique...but I really like it! It's unlike anything I have and I especially love dark greens like this. Shown is 2 smooth coats.

Toasted is green hued gold shimmer that is chameleon-esque in that I can't quite put a finger on what color this is! I like it though and the formula is super easy to work with. Shown is just 2 coats with top coat.

Caramel is a soft peach creme that is slightly streaky but still quite pretty. This is a great palette cleansing shade and would be great for work or a classy event of some sort. I think it reads slightly orange with my skin tone and I think this one will look very different depending on your skin tone. Shown is 4 thin coats because I had some patching.

Last but not least, is Bubbleguman aptly named vibrant pink creme. This is basically the perfect bright pink polish and I can't wait to wear this baby during the summer (perfect toe polish, too!). The formula was a tad streaky just because it's a light shade so shown is 3 thin coats.

Overall, I really enjoyed this brand. I love that they are Vegan friendly and big 5-free, and that they offer so much polish for the price. I think my favorites are Moonsand, Creep, and Vegan Sacrifice.

You can purchase these and many other shades directly from the SUGARLOOM website now for $15/bottle (or check out their trio sets and save a few dollars!). They have a few great things to note for this month:

So, what do you think of these? When you're purchasing polish, is it important for it to be vegan friend and big 5-free to you? I'm finding it more and more important to me and the fact that they have some great shades and finishes is the cherry on top.

Happy Polishing :)
